He was predeceased by: his parents, Dan Blanton and Flora Crose Blanton; his wife Iva Jean Montgomery Blanton; and his brothers, Ted and Gene Blanton.
He is survived by: his children, Barbara Perkins (John), Paula Hogsten (Mike), Clyde "Bill" Blanton, Jr. (Toni), John Blanton and Chris Blanton. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren.
