He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Russell and Pearlie Jenkins Russell; his daughter Elizabeth Ann "Beth" Russell; and his siblings, Lenville Russell, Wallen Russell of Charles Russell, JR., Paul Johnny Russell, Lennie King, Evelyn Russell, Letha Williams, Lona Rigsby, Hadie Hensley and Zella King.
He is survived by: his wife Lois Ann Bruce Russell; his son Charles Bruce Russell (Sue) of Ashland; his brother Harold Russell (Dianne) of Ashland; his grandchildren, Jennifer Dolen (Tanner) and Joshua Russell (Erin); and his great grandchildren, Braxton, Ryan Dolen and Lily Russell. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Caniff Funeral Home (528 Wheatley Rd, Ashland, KY 41101). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
