He was predeceased by: his mother Mary M. Davis Ekers. He is survived by: his father Gary Ekers of Ashland; his children, Jordan Ryan Ekers of Oak Hill, Sydney Kay Ekers of Ashland and Lyndsey Jane Ekers of Ashland; his sisters, Jean Anne Young of Kitts Hill and Deena Fletcher (Rusty) of Pendleton; the mother of his children Michelle Ekers of Ashland; and his brother Kevin Matthew Ekers (Faith) of Catlettsburg. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and good friends.
