She was predeceased by: her husband Ronald W. Salmon; her parents, James Edward and Parthena Katherine Riffe Shaffer; and her sisters, Robbie Jo Chaffins and Becky Watts.
She is survived by: her children, Keith Salmon (Lisa) of Ashland and Phoebe Adkins of Ashland; her grandchildren, Ty Adkins, Adison Fitzgerald, Bray Adkins, Hunter Adkins and Emma Salmon; her siblings, Donna Hutchinson (Mike) of Grayson, Vivian Evans (Kenny) of Rush, Jeanie Frederick (Dan) of Rush and James David "Bub" Shaffer of Rush; and her close friend Celeste Halleck. She is also survived by extended family and close friends.
