He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen Tomlin Sr. and Gladys Hignite Tomlin; and his brothers, John Franklin "Jay" Tomlin and Milbra Talmadge Tomlin. He is survived by: his wife Minnie McIntyre Tomlin; his children, Allen "Skip" Tomlin (Christa) of Ashland, Carol Giauque (Jim) of Lakeland, Valerie Daniel (Tim) of Catlettsburg, KY and John Scott Tomlin (Michelle) of Louisville, KY; and his siblings, Gary Tomlin of Flatwoods, Darrell Tomlin of Greenup, KY, Phyllis Kay Wheatley of Ashland, Pam Bluebaum (Denver) of Westwood and Dana Waller (Bill) of Westwood. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Caniff Funeral Home (528 Wheatley Rd, Ashland, KY 41101). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
