He was predeceased by: his mother Betty Damron Morton; and his brother David Morton. He is survived by: his father Truman Joel Morton; his wife Mary Morton; his daughters, Samantha Prater (Christopher) of Hellier, KY and Faith Fleming (Roy) of Ashcamp, KY; his siblings, Ricky Morton of Regina, KY, Eddie "Tiny" Morton of Elkhorn City, KY, Randy Morton of Elkhorn City, Diana Morton of Elkhorn City, KY, Deborah Morton of Middlesboro, KY and Jenny Wallace of Ruthledge, TN; and his grandchildren, Gracely Marie Prater and Emma Paige Prater.
