He was predeceased by: his father Paris Bartley; his wife Thelma Frances Rogers Bartley; his daughter Mona Childers; his grandson Gregory Childers; and his siblings, Tandy Bartley, Curtis Bartley, Icey Webb, Lottie Turner, Nola Frazier and Daisy Compton.
He is survived by: his daughters, Melissa Taylor (Kenneth) of Versailles, KY and Melinda Bartley Miller of Ashcamp, KY; his grandchildren, Kristie Childers (Melissa), Robert Childers (Donica), Brooke Miller (Keith), Colby Taylor (Macey), Nicholas Taylor, Austin Taylor, Matthew Miller (Denise) and Morgan Newsome (Tristan); his great grandchildren, Eric Childers, Brady Miller, Annaleigh Miller, Gracie Miller, Mason Miller, William Browning, Andrew Browning, Ian Childress and Paxton Childress; his sister Arbutus Powers of Magnolia, TX; and his granddaughter-in-law Shawna Childers.
