He is survived by: his wife Sharon Gatling Sanders of Ashcamp, KY; his children, Alan Clinton Sanders of Pikeville, KY, Cheri Gortney of Ashcamp, KY and Kimber Sanders of Ashcamp, KY; his grandchildren, Tony Gortney, Amity Varney, Joshua Sanders, Jackie Blackburn and Samantha Leslie; his great grandchildren, Bell Gortney, Gracie Gortney, Colten Varney, Lincoln Varney, Daniel Leslie, Gabrie Leslie, Sarah Leslie, Coralee Leslie, Chelsea Blackburn and George Blackburn; and his great great grandchildren, Ivry Newsome and Oaklynn Newsome.
