She was predeceased by: her father Noah Baker; her husband David Trimble McCarty; her daughter Kimberly Johnson; and her sisters, Joyce Whalen and Madeline McCarty.
She is survived by: her children, Dutton McCarty of Ashcamp, KY, Deborah Jean Chaney of Ashcamp, KY and Tammy Phipps of Ashcamp, KY; her grandchildren, Amanda Wilson, Corey Chaney, Bre Phipps, Bub Phipps, Jeremy McCarty and Rose McCarty; and her sister Alice Francisco of Hickory, NC.. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
