He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Bruner and Dorothy Hall Bruner; his wife Janet Bruner; his sons, Fred Alan and Robert Wayne Bruner; his sister Amanda; his brother-in-law Carl Dusina; and his brother Orville Bruner.
He is survived by: his children, Janice Bates (Rick) of Artemus, Michele Dickerson of Tampa, FL and Tommy Bruner of Heidrick; and his brother Eugene Bruner (Joann) of Corbin. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren.
