She was predeceased by: her parents, Louvice "Vicie" Hubbard Walton and Ernest Hubbard; her husband Arthur Messer; her children, Russell Lowell Messer, Randall Wayne Messer (Billie Messer) and Sonia Cobb Freeman (Garrett Freeman); her siblings, Grace Barnett, Ruby Alford, Catherine Miller, Joseph Walton, Daniel W. Walton and Madison D. Walton; and her grandson Rickie Edward Messer.
She is survived by: her grandson Dr. Josh K. Smith. She is also survived by 28 great-grandchildren and 12 great great-grandchildren.
