We are sad to announce that on January 2, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Charlene Murphy of Artemus, Kentucky, born in Pineville, Kentucky. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Broughton and Hazel Smith Broughton; her husband Lee Gilbert Murphy; and her siblings, Ellen "Bootie" Powers and Herman Broughton.

She is survived by: her daughters, Angela Murphy of Frisco, TX and Tanya Halcomb (Ralph) of Barbourville; her siblings, Marjorie "Alene" Matlock (Randall) of Artemus, Harold Broughton (Susan) of Artemus and Darris Broughton (Lisa) of Corbin; her granddaughter Raley Halcomb; and her sister-in-law Pam Broughton.

Please remember, during the continuing COVID-19 event, capacity restrictions, social distancing and the wearing of face coverings as mandated by the Governor of Kentucky will be followed during all services.
