With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wanda Sue McBride Sams (Arlington, Kentucky), born in Bardwell, Kentucky, who passed away on March 5, 2020 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Huey McBride and Edwina McBride; her husband James "Hoover" William Sams; her son William "Zeke" Henry Sams; and her siblings, Shirley Smith, Arnold McBride and Ted McBride.
She is survived by: her daughter Rosemary "Rosie" Sams of Dexter, Kentucky; her siblings, Jane Ann Patterson of Arlington, Venida Hammonds (Gilbert) of Kirbyton and Tommy McBride (Nita) of Bardwell; her grandchildren, Michelle Howard (Jeremy Hickman) of Arlington and Jarad Sams of Paducah; her great grandchild Shelby Lynn Howard; and her daughter-in-law Sheila Sams. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
