He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas "Boots" McGee and Carrie Burge McGee; and his siblings, Pat Chaney, Kenny McGee and Gary McGee.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Jeter McGee; his children, Jean Lemons (Sonny) of Bardwell, Diane Redford (Shawn) of Clinton, Kellie Stinson (Timmy) of Arlington, Kristi Pharis (Arlington) and Mike McGee (Theresa) of Arlington; his siblings, Hilda Cannon (Carl) of Arlington and Buford McGee (Debbie) of Burkley; and his grandchildren, Amber Readnour, Summer Thomason, Sondra Cox, John Cox, Brittany Gore, Logan Stinson, Kelsey Drew, Keeley West, Dakota, Matthew Sams, Tailor, Tucker Massey and Thatcher Pharis. He is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren.
