He was predeceased by: his father Rev. Verland Burgess; and his siblings, Sandra, Naomi Ruth Burgess and William Burgess. He is survived by: his siblings, Anita Roach (Ronald) of Bethel Springs, Tennessee and Gene Burgess of Arlington. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
