He was predeceased by: his father Richard Eugene Sams, Sr.. He is survived by: his mother Martha Jean Hammonds Sams; his children, Kelsey Marie Drew (Dakota) of Arlington, Keeley Micah West (Matthew) of Arlington, Dakota Lane Sams of Arlington and Matthew Kane Sams of Arlington; and his grandchildren, Jake Sams, Railynn Drew, Myla Drew and Addison West.
