She was predeceased by: her parents, Ira Newton and Nellie Ethel Diggs (Drinen); her siblings, Edwin Diggs, Mary Jane Ramero and Ila Peery (Max); and her daughter-in-law Joyce Newell.
She is survived by: her spouse Clifford Newell Sr.; and her children, Clifford Jr. of Hutchinson, Don Smith (Kim) of Goodland and Patricia Smith (Jim) of Signaw, TX. She is also survived by four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
