She was predeceased by: her parents, James Prater and Hazel Adams Prater; her husband Leonard Smith; her sons, Kelly "Bud" Smith and John Smith; and her siblings, Paul Prater, Bob Prater, Buck Prater, Jimmy Prater, Helen Prater, Jean Ewing, Stella Worthington, Rose Arnett, Lois McCarty and Edna Hay.
She is survived by: her children, James Smith (Tammy) of Argillite, Kentucky, Rose Blevins (Paul) of Argillite, Diana Biggs (George) of Argillite and Sheila Nichols (Mark) of Grayson; and her grandchildren, Areline, Timothy, Lois, Matthew, Gage, Jerry, Cameron, Jessica, Mark, Vicky, Danny, Kelly, Jamie, Woodrow, Tonya, Mary, April, Jonathan, David of Patrick, Gavin and Taylor. She is also survived by eighteen great-grandchildren; Eleven great-great grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews.
