It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Laurita Willoughby Sledge (Alvaton, Kentucky), who passed away on March 11, 2018, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her son Stephen Gerald Sledge; and her grandparents, Tommy Willoughby, Lena Willoughby (Tabor), Tom Railey and Genie Railey (Cornwell).
She is survived by: her husband Wickliffe Miles Sledge of Alvaton; her children, Elaine Sledge of Bowling Green, Mila Sledge of Bowling Green and Timothy Sledge (Jill) of Hampton; her grandchildren, Miles Sledge (Sarah) of Chesapeake, Alex Sledge of Hampton and Erica Sledge of Newport News; her great grandchild Elizabeth Sledge of Chesapeake; her sister Chloenita Simpson (Norval) of Alvaton; her niece Sheila Voelker (Brian) of Vine Grove; and her nephew Nelson Trent Simpson (Jamie) of Nashville.
