He was predeceased by: his parents, France Bowling and Callie Deaton Bowling; his grandson Terrance James Bowling; his stepfather Charles Napier; his stepdaughter Joyce Ann Turner; and his siblings, Ray Bowling, Rev. Ollie James Bowling and Hazel Arrowood (Fred).
He is survived by: his wife Mary White Bowling of Altro, KY.; his children, Elmer Hubert Bowling (Becky) of Letcher County, KY. and Annette Molands (Ricky) of Canoe, KY.; his brother Elmer Bowling (Linda Jo) of Jackson, KY.; and his sisters-in-law, Gayle Bowling and Lucinda Bowling.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Deaton Funeral Home Chapel (15 Deaton Ln, Jackson, KY 41339).
