He was predeceased by: his wife Effie Raleigh Begley; his siblings, Opal, Ola, Goldie, Edna Mae, A. D., Luther, Elisha and Levi; and his stepson Robert Raleigh.
He is survived by: his children, Traci Scott (Philip) of Nicholasville, KY, Lewis Begley of Lewisburg, TN, Ricky Begley (Peggy) of Columbia, TN and Rev. Calvin Bowling (Carol) of Gays Creek, KY; and his stepchildren, Betty Jo Raleigh, Rosa Noble, Luther Raleigh, Martha Herald, James Raleigh and Cale Raleigh. He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
