He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Spicer and Ethel Deaton Spicer; his son Travlis Junior Spicer; his sisters, Sally Mae Turner, Audry Spicer (Sissy), Mary Francis Spicer, Shirley Deaton (Luther) and Georgia Spicer Bernard; his brother-in-law Doug Neace; and his granddaughters, Sally Sue Spicer and Annie Lynn Spicer.

He is survived by: his wife Saley Spicer of Altro, KY.; his children, Scottie Spicer (Tracey) of Chavies, KY and Connie Ritchie (Mike) of Jackson, KY.; his brothers, Robert Lee Spicer (Mary Lou) of Altro, KY. and Linburg Spicer of Altro, KY.; his brother-in-law Willard Bernard, Jr. of Franklin, OH.; his sisters, Lula Stamper (Virgil) of Franklin, OH, Betty Spicer of Altro, KY and Theresa Neace of Jackson, KY.; his grandchildren, Ryan Spicer (Brooke), Abigail Ritchie (Skylar Haddix) and Betty Rose Spicer; and his great grandchildren, Emmy Jean Spicer and Grace Lynn Spicer. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
