She was predeceased by: her husband John Smith Jr.; her parents, Jesse Turner and Armine Turner; and her son-in-law Hershel Pitts. She is survived by: her caregivers, Debbie Lynn Pitts and Jennifer Burton; her son-in-law Woodrow Glenn Burton; her daughters, Ella Cole (Lonnie), Wanda Smith, Brenda Queen (Jack) and Kathy Jones (Delmer); her brother Roy Lee Turner (Anne); and her cousin Dr. Gary Turner. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
