He was predeceased by: his mother Lena Scales (Tucker); and his siblings, Jimmy McIntrye, Johnny McIntrye and Roxanne Scales. He is survived by: his wife Kathy J. Scales (Dyson) of Almo, KY; his children, Michael Wolfe (Kate) of Raymond, NH, Courtney Hale of Almo, KY and Julie Mohs of Paducah; his siblings, William Scales, Edward Scales Jr., David Scales, Paul Scales, Kim Reed, Debbie Burns and Shirley Mansur; and his grandchildren, Chelsea, Breanna, Noah, Kimberly, Becca, Chris, Wyatt and Brielle. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
