He is survived by: his wife Fay Bell Johnston; his children, Richard Lamar Johnston of Evansville, IN and Melissa Johnston Burgess (Terry) of Sharpe, KY; his sister Charlotte Rowland (Steve) of Murray; his grandchildren, Darren Cornwell and Sarah Cornwell; his nephew Brad Rowland; and his niece Amanda Darnall (Brian).
