He was predeceased by: his mothers, Ruby Watts and Effie Hays Watts; and his siblings, Dr. Gene Watts, Ed Watts, Venessie Austin and Lois Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Pearl Gayheart Watts; his children, Randall Leo Watts (Angie) of Allen, KY, Susan Barnette of Allen, KY, Donna Reitz (Tommy) of Allen, KY and Rebecca Watts of Prestonsburg, KY; his sisters, Mildred Blair of Hindman, KY, Alma Waddell of Hindman, KY, Eleanor Bolen of Pinetop, KY, Palma Cornett of Greenup, KY and Sue Adams of Winchester, KY; his grandchildren, Brandon Barnette (Ricarda), Josh Barnette (Jessica), Cory Reitz (Susan), Cayne Reitz, Courtney Sheldon (Ryan), Garran Newsome and Jaxon Leo Watts; and his great grandchildren, Kyria Barnette, Kasyn Barnette, Arianna Barnette, Preston Phelps, Molly Reitz, Tuck Sheldon and Beau Sheldon.
