He was predeceased by: his son Rick Pichotta; his parents, Martin Pichotta and Juanita Pichotta; and also, June Lauer, Bobby Garman, Pee Wee and William Garman.

He is survived by: his wife Nancy Pichotta; his daughters, Laura Berkemeyer (Dan), Karen Kilburn (Joe), Kelly Pichotta, James Pichotta, Gail Connley, Jeanette Conway (Don) and Patty Scharstein (Steve); and his grandchildren, Julia, Tabatha, Drew, Deena, Evan, Haley, Madeline and Bella.
