He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmitt Hensley and Fannie Monroe Hensley; and his siblings, Edward Claude Hensley and Rosie Ellen Archer. He is survived by: his wife Linda Faulkner Hensley; his nieces and nephews, Artanda Carter, Shane Edward Hensley and Nequitta Hensley Archer; and his great-niece Monica Bridgmon (Chris).
