He was predeceased by: his parents, Georgia Marie Brock Matthews and Clifford Beau Matthews; and his brother Clifton Matthews. He is survived by: his son Tristan Matthews; and his siblings, Darrell Matthews, Gary Matthews, Sabrina Matthews Halcomb, Donna Bassett, Diane Matthews and Jenny Sharp. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
