He is survived by: his wife Ruth Schalk; his children, Timothy (Teresa), Randy (Bev), Theresa Martin (Joe) and Tanya Holtz (Mike); and his brothers, Thomas (late Judy), James (Joyce), Ken (June) and Dan (Darlene). He is also survived by brothers, brothers-in-law, friends, sons, grandsons and great-grandsons.

Mass of Christian Burial will be private at St. Mary of the Assumption Church for immediate family only, due to the Coronavirus.
