He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Peters and Cora. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth; his stepfather Clarence Ford; his children, Donald Joseph Peters and Danielle Ra Peters; his stepsons, Jacob and Gunnar Heiert; his siblings, David Peters (Dixie), Aleta Hensley and Shannon Mann (Kevin); his grandson Zaivious Hicks; his half-sisters, Dawn Roberts and Shawna Peters; and his stepsister Teresam Mitch.
