He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Coleman and Thelma Mae Stearns; and his brother Stan Stearns. He is survived by: his wife Connie Stearns; his children, Melissa McLenon and Steve Stearns Jr. (Stacy); his sisters, Carolyn Luttrell and Phyllis Hay; his grandsons, Cody Stearns and Steve Michael Stearns; and his great grandchildren, Jordan Stearns and Jacklyn Stearns.
