He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Shelton and Bertha Shelton (Clark); and his brother Willard Shelton. He is survived by: his wife Francine Shelton; his brother Billie Shelton; and his nieces, Judy Schmenk (Johnny), Dana Shelton, Angie Marcum (Adam) and Abby Stearns (Austin). He is also survived by two great-nephews and three great-nieces.
