He was predeceased by: his parents, Reed Thrasher and Maggie Thrasher. He is survived by: his close friend Etta Bruce; his children, Carol (Terry Buster), Larry Thrasher, Gary (Sharon Thrasher) and Terry (Stacey Thrasher); his brother Robert E. "Bob" Thrasher; his grandchildren, Josh Thrasher (Katie), Sonya Speck (Barrett), Levi Barber and Silas Thrasher; and his great grandchildren, Dalton Poore, Emilia Speck, Mia Thrasher, Maryn Speck, Olivia Buster and Eli Barber.
