He is survived by: his wife Ruby Jean Phillips; and his children, Teresa Cooksey, Sherry Baki-Hashemi (Saeid), Michele Cooksey (Mary) and Mike Cooksey (Debbie). He is also survived by 1 sister 10 grandchildren 5 great-grandchildren.
