He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonnie Stearns and Helen Stearns; his wife Patricia Stearns; his daughters, Lori Ann Stearns and Cassie Stearns; and his siblings, Kelly Stearns and Dottie Stearns.
He is survived by: his children, Lonnie Stearns (Dovie), Nora Stearns (Terry) and Billy Stearns; his grandchildren, Jacob, Rachel (Zachary), Meredith, Dorothy, Chester and Lochlan; his great grandchild Ares Burnette; and his siblings, Mildred Clifton, Nancy Pierce, Calvin Stearns, Kevin Stearns and David Stearns. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
