He is survived by: his wife Sharyn DeRossett; his son Jerrad DeRossett (Jamie) of Bowling Green; his stepchildren, Jimmy Poynter of Albany, Sherry Bowman of Cincinnati and Nora Bowman of London; his siblings, Lloyd DeRossett (Ann) of Science Hill, Gail Ferguson (Larry) of Albany, Patsy Walker of Byrdstown, Johnny Ruben DeRossett (Donna) of Albany, Carol Denney (Kim) of Albany and Janet Gibson (Dale) of Albany; and his grandson Jerry. He is also survived by 9 step-grandchildren, 8 step-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Talbott Funeral Home (1106 N Cross St, Albany, KY 42602). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donation to Walnut Grove Cemetery Fund.
