He was predeceased by: his parents, Elvin Thrasher and Artie Elizabeth Cross Thrasher; his wife Minnie Sue Albertson Thrasher; his daughter Vickie Thrasher; and his brother Hugh Thrasher.
He is survived by: his children, Renee Brown (Greg), Tammy Thrasher, Brenda Simpson (late Bobby Simpson) and Donnie Thrasher (Shannon); his brother Gayron Thrasher (Esther); and his sister-in-law Jean Thrasher. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.
