He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Thrasher and Cora Thrasher; his children, Donnie and Danny Thrasher; and his brother Frank Thrasher.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Thrasher; his children, Margaret (Jackie Boils), Ronnie Thrasher (Kathy), Dennis Thrasher (Janie), Jeff Thrasher (Tammy) and Freddie Thrasher (Scott Smith); and his sisters, Eudean Asberry, Mary Howard (Ben) and Martha Poynter (Harold). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
