He was predeceased by: his brother WWll; his parents, Alvin Elliott and Ada Snow Armstrong (Duvall); and his brothers, Gordon (Mary Lou Armstrong) and David (Joyce Armstrong).
He is survived by: his nieces and nephews, Richard Armstrong (Joy), Vicki Jo Armstrong Lawson (Michael), Ginger Lou Dowell (Jimmy), Shannon Dee Thrasher (Donnie), Susan Lapus (Benjamin), Deborah Milanowski (Steve), Laura VanDerBos (James) and David Armstrong (Lindy). He is also survived by great great nieces and nephews, and very dear friends.
