He is survived by: his wife Katherine Smith; his stepson Nick Thrasher (Staci); his brothers, Nicky Smith (Becky) and Tony Smith; his grandchildren, Haleigh Jo Thrasher and Cody Thrasher; his niece Leslie Cash (Lance); and his great-niece Jersie Sloan Smith.
