He was predeceased by: his mother Betty Jean Blankenship Scott; his children, W. C. Scott and Joann Scott; and his brother David Dell Scott. He is survived by: his father Clay Dell Scott (Sarah) of Adolphus, KY; his children, Christopher Phillips of Franklin, KY and Mamie Scott of Scottsville, KY; his close friend Nicole Lindsey of Adolphus, KY; his brothers, Chris Scott (Lori) of Westmoreland, TN, Joe Scott (Tonya) of Adolphus, KY, Marty Scott (Amy Hallman) of Franklin, KY and Tommy Scott (Lori Keith) of Scottsville, KY; and his granddaughter Sarah Cheyanne Scott.
