He was predeceased by: his parents, Neal Franklin Cockrill and Dorothy Jean Bessinger Cockrill; and his siblings, Dean Hicks, Leatrice Spencer, Roger, Billy, Jerry and Frank Cockrill.
He is survived by: his wife LaMona Jane Cockrill of Adolphus, KY; his children, Shannon Cockrill (Wendy) of Scottsville, KY and Krystal Cornwell (Michael Caldwell) of Scottsville, KY; his stepdaughter Anissa Hogan of Scottsville, KY; his sister Doris Francis of Scottsville, KY; and his grandchildren, Josh Cornwell (Cassie), Aaron Pedigo, Shayna Cockrill, Jarrett Cockrill (Erica), Logan Cockrill and Shalyn Dick. He is also survived by Several nieces, nephews and cousins.
