He is survived by: his close friend Mary Beadle of Adolphus, KY; his children, Sammy Ray Hudgins, Jr. (Suzette) of Sterling, VA, Elvis Hudgins (Valerie) of Ranson, WV and Angie Hudgins of Reston, VA; his stepdaughter Billie Jo "BJ" Lyons (Robert) of Russellville, KY; his siblings, Mike Hudgins (Carolyn) of Norlina, NC, Raymond F. Hudgins, Jr. of Norlina, NC, Diane Loyd (Rick) of Norlina, NC, Donna Brogden (Pete) of Norlina, NC and Darlene Munn (Dave) of Loris, SC; his grandsons, Darrell, Dalton, Jamison and Jackson; and his stepgranddaughters, Lisa, Krista and Jenna.
