He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Eugene Carter and Audrey Jean Gribbons Hughes; his stepfather Ricky Hughes; and his siblings, Sue Batchelor, Roger Carter and Doug Carter.
He is survived by: his children, Ben Carter of Adolphus, KY and Kelly Alred (Phillip); his former wife Mary Ann Carter of Adolphus, KY; his siblings, Mike Carter (Penny) and Darlene Carter of Scottsville, KY; his sister-in-law Peggy Carter of Scottsville, KY; and his grandchildren, Ethan Alred and Ashlyn Alred.
According to the Kentucky Funeral Director's Association social distancing and face mask are recommended and no PUBLIC lounge is available.
