She was predeceased by: her parents, James Hobart Carter and Nadine Carter; her son Stephen Lynn Carter; and her sister Imogene Smalling. She is survived by: her husband Lelon Carter of Adolphus, KY; her daughters, Cathy Sue Sanders of Adolphus, KY and Sandi Kay Graves (Tony); her siblings, Donald Carter (Becky) and Bonnie Lawson (Bob); her grandchildren, Susan Keen (Mark), Brad Keen (Heather), Joey Fowler and Jesse Sanders; her great grandchildren, William Berry, Austin Keen, Kyle Keen, Makayla Huntsman, Brennen Fowler and Tru Fowler; and her great great grandchild Carter Keen.
In lieu of flowers, expresssions of sympathy may take the form of donations for the Carter's Tabernacle Cemetery Fund. Donations may be mailed to Goad Funeral Home.
