He is survived by: his children, Deborah Pierce of Adolphus, Kentucky, Danny W. Pierce of Columbia and James W. Pierce of Paris, Tennessee; his sisters, Louise Merrell of Columbia, Kentucky and Dorothy Cowan of Columbia, Kentucky; and his granddaughter Patricia Merrell of Adolphus, Kentucky. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
