He was predeceased by: his parents, Pilot Cantrell and Ollie Mae Cantrell (Ramey); and his siblings, Elwood "Hoss" Cantrell, Bobby Cantrell, Elmo Cantrell, Mavis Fyffe and Mable Clester.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Cantrell; his children, Melissa Frasher (James), Billy Cantrell (Jessica), Jennifer Holley (Curt) and Billie Jo Thompson (Walter); his grandchildren, Paige Holley, Austin Cantrell, Hailey Frasher and Madison Thompson; and his sister Augie Boggs.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Cantrell Cemetery (11215 KY-32, Adams, KY 41201).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to help offset funeral expenses.
