He is survived by: his son Tony Thurmond; his stepsons, James Martin, Adairville, Mark Martin and Springfield; his daughter Anita Phipps; and his stepdaughter Terry Mincy. He is also survived by 17 Grandchildren and 39 Great Grandchildren.
