He was predeceased by : his parents, Charlie Ritter and Axie Ritter (Frank); and his siblings, Denver Davis, Tommy Ritter, Evelyne O'Ryan (Joey Ellis) and Daisy Daniels.

He is survived by : his wife Virginia (Trimble) of Adairville, KY.; his children, Richard Lee Ritter, Andrea Roth (John) and Michael Allen Ritter; his stepson Charles Trimble (Chuck); his grandchildren, Ruby Anna Ritter, Axie Valentine Ritter, John Austin Roth, III, Sylvia Elizabeth Roth and Anna Burns Roth; and his sister Charlene Camfield of Louisville. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Radnor Lake Natural Area in memory of Frank Ritter.
